Dr. Tapanes is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with his doctoral concentration in Medical Family Therapy. Dr. Tapanes understands our bodies to primarily be Emotional Regulatory Systems (ERS). When this system is not in balance, we not only feel it emotionally, but our physical health is also compromised. Dr. Tapanes works from a biopsychosocial framework and therefore structures his treatment to effect physical and emotional health outcomes through better management of the Emotional Regulatory System. Dr. Tapanes is the creator of the MEND (Mastering Each New Direction) model of treatment which is used in outpatient and hospital settings to treat health related quality of life issues for both the pediatric and adult chronically ill populations. Dr. Tapanes has published in peer reviewed journals research findings on the MEND model as an intervention and its effectiveness outcomes. Outside of his work in MEND, Dr. Tapanes sees patients who struggle with the negative physical and emotional effects of a chronic illness, patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), conversion disorders, and somatic disorders. Dr. Tapanes was the 2012 recipient of the Mental Health Community Advocate Award presented by the County of San Bernardino Department of Behavioral Health, and received the President’s Award from Loma Linda University School of Behavioral Science in 2016.

Jessica is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Master’s of Science in Psychology from Cal Poly, Pomona. Jessica has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including school based therapy, in home therapy, inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, clinical settings, and individual private practice. Jessica works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She has extensive practice treating mood disorders, childhood disorders, anxiety disorders, family relational issues, women’s issues, self injury, and trauma. Jessica implements an eclectic therapeutic approach often utilizing person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family systems approaches.

Phil is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Phil received his Master’s of Science in Psychology from Cal-Baptist University in 1999 and his DMFT from Loma Linda University in 2016. Phil has been practicing therapy for 19 years; including working for foster family agencies, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, chemical dependency programs and private practice. Phil specializes in treating substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, separation/divorce issues, ADHD, PTSD/trauma, adjustment disorders, anger management, grief and loss, and group therapy. Phil is also certified in EMDR and implements this when needed to further access therapeutic progress.

Reina is a License Marriage and Family therapist who received her Bachelor's and Master’s in Science at California Baptist University. Reina has worked in partial hospitalization, residential and private practice. Reina has worked in the mental health field for over 11 years and more recently worked at Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center Adolescent Partial Hospital Program for the last 7 years. Reina has supported teens, couples and families through crises for many of these years. Reina has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, substance use, suicidal/homicidal ideation and attempts. Through her experience, Reina has developed a passion for working with trauma survivors and their families. Reina believes in working together with clients to help them meet their goals of living a healthier, happier life.

I have experience working both in managed care and private practice, serving children and adults. I enjoy working with families, couples, and individuals. I am certified in multiple treatment modalities for children and teens, including Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Watch, Wait, and Wonder. I offer Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for those struggling with trauma.

Susan Jackson has worked in the field of addiction for 29 years. She received her Bachelors of Science in Behavioral Science and her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of La Verne. She began her career working for the City of Chino as a gang interventionist and domestic violence counselor. While at Chino she began working with substance abusing adolescents and their families. This experience, working with the addictive family system, led to her working at San Antonio Community Hospital on the Chemical Dependency Unit as the family counselor. Susan worked for Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center for 14 years. Eight of those years were on the chemical dependency unit as the family counselor and eventually was promoted to Program Manager for the children and adolescent mental health and chemical dependency program where she spent the last six years until leaving for His House Drug Residential Treatment as the Clinical Director. Working with the addicted family system is her passion. She is the proud mother of 5 wonderful children and 5 amazing grandchildren.

Deneen L Watson Jr,  "Dean"  has been in the helping professions since 2005. Dean worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and is certified by CCAPP since 2006. Dean graduated from CBU with a BA in Psychology in 2006 and with a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2008. Since that time Dean has worked in many different capacities including Program Manager, Program Director and Clinical Director of different inpatient rehabilitation substance use disorder facilities. Dean is currently a Clinical Director which is a position he appreciates as it allows him to supervise trainee therapists who are new to the field. Dean Has worked with Clear View since 2018 and enjoys individuals , couples and families. Dean implies different systems therapies to achieve second order change in family systems. Dean uses Cognitive Behavioral therapies, REBT, existential therapies, DBT, and psychodynamic therapies, Dean enjoys working with all cultures and identities and finding the correct fit for any particular client.

Jesse Allen has 7 years of professional experience as a psychotherapist treating
patients and families struggling in the face of complex medical conditions. Jesse is

Alana Hendrix, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, has been in the field of helping people navigate through the broken pieces of their lives for over 25 years.  A graduate of California Baptist University, her highest priorities are faith, family, and helping others create a life of purpose and joy.  She has a strong appreciation for the human/animal bond and has assisted many of her clients in working with therapy dogs and other emotional support animals over the years.  She is the proud owner of an Australian Shepherd, Liberty (shown in the photo as a 9 week old puppy).  Liberty often comes with Alana to the office to provider that extra bit of comfort and encouragement for all the clients.  She is a certified service dog as well as trained in multiple areas of providing emotional support.  Alana works with individuals, couples, and families in all challenging areas of life.  She has experience working with depression, anxiety, attachment disorders and many other challenges people face.  She specializes in trauma and is an EMDR facilitator.  EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a cutting edge treatment for trauma of any kind and is showing remarkable results with most clients.  Alana is also a clinical supervisor and works with assisting many graduates work their way through the maze of gaining the 3000 treatment hours needed to be allowed to sit for the licensing examination.  Her warm and friendly style puts people at ease and allows a non-judgmental place to explore the difficult situations you may be faced with.  She is an engaging speaker and is also available to speak to your church or organization on a variety of mental health topics.
